Walfrid Private implement strategic plans with their clients to ensure they achieve financial independence sooner than they ever imagined possible by structuring long term bespoke financial cashflows. We work with clients nationwide, to ensure Wealth Development through multi-channel cashflows that are structured tax efficiently.
About the Apprentice programme:
We are looking for an ambitious and talented individual(s) who shows the potential to develop into a high performing business professional. This opportunity is a three-year fixed term contract apprentice scheme that provides exposure to all aspects of our business, allowing you to develop your technical expertise as well as professional skills.
While on the programme, in addition to gaining on the job insurance experience, you will complete the insurance industry professional qualifications APA and QFA as well as a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Insurance Practice (Apprenticeship) which is Level 8 on the NFQ awarded by ATU Sligo.
When you join Walfrid Private, you will receive a tailored induction and will be assigned a business supervisor and mentor to provide support throughout the scheme.

About the Role:
- Process pension, investment & protection business submitted by financial advisory team.
- Key new applications on life company portals.
- Set up new clients and policies on CRM.
- Work with the financial advisors to draw up and issue compliance documents to clients -recommendations, statement of suitability, market research reports, risk profiling etc.
- Ensure files are compliant in line with our processes and procedures.
- Establish & build strong relationships with their clients.
- Processing ad hoc requests from customers, e.g., address changes, encashments, withdrawals.
- Managing daily post and client correspondence
- Prepare and maintain client files.
- Deliver a consistently high level of service by telephone and email to all customers to contribute proactively to the retention of existing business.
- Support change within the team and cross train with other departments in the business to ensure high levels of service and knowledge.
About You:
- Able to provide excellent levels of customer service to clients
- Professional phone manner.
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal.
- High level of attention to detail and ability to work to deadlines.
- Good administration skills.
Minimum Entry Level Requirements:
- Be 18 years of age or older.
- Mature students – if over 23 years there are no minimum educational requirements - documented interview required.
- FETAC Level 5 qualification holders
- Between 18 and under 23 years – Leaving certificate, minimum of 160 points to include two honours in higher level paper and passes in Maths and English/Irish with specific requirements on grades/levels
